Andrell Education Australia partners with schools to transform writing outcomes through the Big Write and VCOP approach. Our training equips teachers with clear, practical strategies to develop confident writers, strengthen oral language, and create consistent, high-impact writing practices across whole schools.

​Samantha Taylor
With over 20 years of experience in education, Andrell Education Australasia is led by Samantha Taylor, a dedicated literacy consultant committed to improving writing outcomes through the Big Write and VCOP approach.

Having successfully adapted and implemented Big Write and VCOP in her own classrooms, Samantha provides educators with practical, effective advice, feedback and support grounded in real classroom experience.

Samantha has undertaken extensive training in the UK with Ros Wilson and her colleagues across the Andrell programs. She also worked closely to adapt the Criterion Scale to align with the Australian Curriculum, ensuring it is both rigorous and relevant for local schools.
She is passionate about supporting teachers and school leaders to build strong, consistent VCOP classrooms across Australasia.

Meet our Master VCOP Trainers, a team of highly trained literacy leaders who have worked in partnership with Andrell Education Australasia. Through rigorous training and classroom application, they now support schools to implement high-impact writing practices with confidence and consistency.

Shalini Devi Ramanathan
Shalini is the Founder and Director of Phonics Power, a leading institute in India delivering programmes in early literacy and English language development. A passionate educator, she has worked as an educational consultant and teacher trainer since 2012.

An accredited trainer with Jolly Learning (UK) and Oxford University Press (India), Shalini has trained over 7,500 teachers across 340+ schools and teacher training institutes. She also works as an academic consultant and curriculum planner, supporting schools to transition from rote learning to a Synthetic Phonics approach.

Her expertise spans phonics, grammar, creative writing, comprehension, reading and spelling intervention, and spoken English. She is also known for designing engaging language programmes for secondary students using storybooks, films, and multimedia texts.

Jigna Dharod
Jigna Dharod is the Chief Trainer and Director of Phonics Kingdom, and an officially certified trainer with Jolly Learning (UK) and IIPE Canada in Experiential Learning. With over 28 years of experience, she has trained both students and educators across early childhood education, phonics, grammar, creative writing, handwriting, and language development.

​Jigna works as a curriculum consultant for a number of leading schools in India and is known for designing engaging, student-centred learning programmes. As a lifelong learner, she has continually expanded her expertise through training in areas such as Phonics International, Fitzroy Phonics, Emotional Intelligence, Brain Gym, UDL, and storytelling.

She is also the founder of Phonics Club, which supports over 1,000 students annually across nine centres, and has trained more than 10,000 teachers globally.

​Through her extensive experience, Jigna recognised the need for a clear and structured approach to writing. The Big Write and VCOP methodology provides this foundation—building student confidence while developing strong language skills. She is passionate about bringing this approach to a wider audience and supporting schools to transform their writing outcomes.
​​Driven to create a simple, effective and engaging writing framework, Shalini and Jigna have partnered together to develop a creative writing approach aligned with Big Write and VCOP. Together, they are leading a shift in writing instruction across Indian schools through high-impact workshops for both students and teachers.

Sapna Bhola
Sapna Bhola is a passionate educator with over 10 years of experience in early literacy and English language development. Based in New Delhi, she specialises in delivering structured, engaging, and practical approaches that improve writing outcomes for young learners. As a certified Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar trainer, Sapna has worked extensively with students and educators, providing effective strategies grounded in classroom practice. She supports schools in building strong writing cultures through the Big Write and VCOP approach, with a focus on vocabulary, connectives, openers, and punctuation.​

Mahak Chandwani
Mahak Chandwani is the Founder and Director of Mahak’s Little Angels N/P School. With over 18 years of experience in school leadership and a Master of Education, she has developed extensive expertise in early childhood education, particularly in phonics, grammar, and creative writing. Her hands-on experience has helped her identify both effective teaching practices and gaps in early learning.
Mahak believes VCOP is a powerful framework that enables learners to communicate with clarity, creativity, and purpose. She is passionate about helping every child become a confident writer and making writing enjoyable, meaningful, and expressive.

Hira Tariq
Hira is the founder of Homeschooling with Hira, an online platform supporting teachers and parents through multisensory, child-friendly approaches to learning. A Montessori Directress with over 15 years of experience across Pakistan and the Middle East, she specialises in systematic synthetic phonics, spelling, grammar, creative writing, and reading comprehension.
Hira creates educational content for her YouTube and Facebook communities and develops practical resources for educators. She is the author of several educational books, including English Spelling Rules, Gleeful Grammar Level 1, and Spelling Stories with Mr Peanut. Hira is passionate about improving writing outcomes through the VCOP framework.

Mitul Vora
​Mitul Vora is the Founder of Mitul Vora’s Phonics World, established in 2010. With over 25 years of experience in English language education, she is a trainer and education consultant specialising in Phonics, Grammar, Literature, VCOP, and teacher professional learning.
​Mitul holds a 480-hour Master Level International TEFL/TESOL certification and serves as a Cambridge Speaking Examiner. She is passionate about developing confident, expressive communicators and believes VCOP empowers children to think creatively, write confidently, and communicate effectively. Her goal is to inspire both students and teachers to embrace language with confidence, clarity, and creativity.

Sapna Jangir
Sapna Jangir is the founder of Fly High with Sounds and a recognised Jolly Phonics Trainer with over 11 years of experience teaching phonics, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing. She specialises in creating engaging resources that make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
Sapna believes the VCOP framework provides children with a confident pathway to becoming writers by reducing cognitive load and building essential writing skills. Through her MetaWit™ Write Wings program, she uses interactive activities, oral language, and classroom challenges to inspire learners and support teachers in creating successful VCOP-driven classrooms.

Prasona Muvva
Prasona is an experienced educator with over 15 years of expertise in pre-primary and primary education. In 2015, she founded Magic Phonics and has since trained more than 2,000 students in phonics and creative writing, helping build strong reading and writing foundations. She has also trained over 1,500 teachers, equipping them with effective phonics and classroom strategies.
A strong advocate for skill-based language learning, Prasona incorporates the VCOP approach into her teaching, leading to improved writing, creativity, and language fluency. She is passionate about nurturing confident young writers and supporting educators.

Dr. Aarti Sawant
Dr. Aarti Sawant is an accredited VCOP and Big Write Consultant Trainer with over 25 years of experience in literacy and writing education. A pioneer in foundational literacy, she was among the first educators to introduce Jolly Phonics and Jolly Literacy in India.
Dr. Sawant equips teachers with practical, high-impact strategies that develop vocabulary, oracy, and structured writing, helping students become confident communicators and writers. Through her work with schools and leadership teams, she supports the consistent implementation of the VCOP framework, empowering educators, strengthening writing outcomes, and creating lasting improvement in teaching and learning.

Anwesha Kukreja
Anwesha Kukreja is an educator and language professional dedicated to developing strong English communication skills in young learners. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a Master’s degree in Management Studies.
In 2019, she founded EarlyLingo, an initiative focused on building children’s confidence in reading, writing, and speaking English. Anwesha has taught phonics and grammar to more than 600 students through online programs and three centres in Navi Mumbai. She also collaborates with the Big Write and VCOP frameworks, supporting students and educators to improve writing outcomes through structured, effective teaching practices.

Shabeena K Rohila
Shabeena K Rohila is a Communication Educator and Growth Strategist with 18 years of industry and academic experience, including a decade in advertising as an Account Director.
Holding an MBA, B.Ed, and ECCEd, she combines strategic expertise with strong educational foundations. As the founder of Mysa Centre, she delivers programs in Creative Writing, VCOP, Phonics, and Communication Development for children.
A certified VCOP trainer, Shabeena is passionate about helping students think independently, express themselves confidently, and develop their own voice. Her vision is to empower children, parents, and educators through meaningful, future-focused communication and learning.
